How the Name ‘Dependable’ Come About
Jason’s Father-in-law, Leo Bregenser, started out as a window washer in Calgary. One day one of his clients asked him if he could pick up the litter and sweep the parking lot while he was on site. So with a broom, dustpan and the trunk of his car, that is how his little business started growing. In 1972, an individual approached Jason’s father-in-law (Leo) and persuaded him to invest a heavy sum of $5000 in taking the business to the next level, but as it happened, the individual skipped town and left with Leo’s money.
This incident left Leo with a realization; he determined that this individual was not at all ‘dependable’ and if he (Leo) was going to be in business, then he needed to be ‘dependable’ towards his valuable customers to provide high-quality services consistently – and this is how the name “Dependable” was born. The rest, as they say, is history. Leo went on to build one of the largest and most popular privately-owned sweeping and parking lot maintenance companies in Southern Alberta which we now know as Dependable Maintenance Ltd.
Being a service that our clients can trust and depend upon is something we’ve inherited from Leo and this has made it our topmost motto to deliver absolute quality with no compromise whatsoever.
